Volunteer Agreement

This agreement is intended to show our commitment to do the best we can to make your volunteering experience with us an enjoyable and worthwhile one.

The Centre

We, at Clwyd Special Riding Centre, agree to accept the volunteering services of

..................................beginning........................ and undertake, on behalf of

......................................RDA Group, the following:

To provide a thorough induction prior to your starting your volunteering role with ....................................... RDA Group.

To provide an induction pack at your first interview.

To provide support to you in your volunteer role by the buddy system, a six week review and through the work of the CSRC Volunteer Coordinator.

Through training to explain the standards that we set for our service and to support you to achieve and maintain them. This training will also enable you to work safely in your role.

To do our best to help you develop your volunteering role with us.

To ensure that all volunteers are dealt with in accordance with the CSRC equal opportunities policy, a copy of which is set out in the induction pack.

To try to resolve, in accordance with the CSRC complaints policy any problems, grievances or difficulties you may have while volunteering with us.

To allow you to have a voice in the running of the Centre through the CSRC Volunteers' Forum.

The Volunteer

To respect the Centre's objectives and to adhere to its rules, policies and procedures.

To perform my volunteering role to the best of my ability.

To maintain the confidential information of the organisation and its clients.

To meet time commitments and standards agreed to, except in exceptional circumstances, and to give reasonable notice so that other arrangements can be made.

To provide referees as agreed who may be contacted, and to agree to a criminal records check being carried out.

General

This agreement is binding in honour only, and is not intended to be a legally binding contract between us. It may be cancelled at any time at the request of either party. Neither of us intends any employment relationship to be created either now or at any time in the future.
